Ep 6. Un Día de Tragedias

Destilando Amor is a Mexican telenovela that revolves around the life of Gaviota (Angélica Rivera), a young woman from a humble background who falls in love with Rodrigo (Eduardo Yáñez), the heir to a wealthy tequila-producing family. Amidst all this, Gaviota's grandmother falls ill and needs emergency medical attention. Gaviota and Rodrigo rush her to the hospital, where they discover that she has a serious heart condition and needs surgery. Rodrigo decides to pay for her treatment, despite his earlier reluctance to lend Gaviota money.

As the day draws to a close, the family gathers to say goodbye to the dead mare. Rodrigo and Gaviota share a tender moment, in which he tells her how much he loves her and promises to stand by her no matter what. However, their happiness is short-lived, as Isadora reveals a shocking family secret that threatens to ruin everything.
