In the sixth season of Desperate Housewives, episode 5 is titled "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid." In this episode, the women of Wisteria Lane find themselves in a bit of a mess as they each deal with their own set of problems.
Gaby, played by Eva Longoria, finds herself struggling to balance her busy schedule of being a mom and running her own business. She decides to hire a maid to help her with the housework, but quickly realizes that the woman she has hired is not what she seems.
Susan, played by Teri Hatcher, is dealing with her own set of problems as she tries to adjust to life as a single woman. She decides to sell her house and move to a new neighborhood, but runs into unexpected obstacles along the way.
Meanwhile, Lynette, played by Felicity Huffman, is dealing with her own family drama as her son Porter gets into trouble at school. She tries to keep the situation under control, but things quickly spiral out of control.
Bree, played by Marcia Cross, finds herself in an uncomfortable situation when a man from her past shows up unexpectedly. She tries to push him away, but finds herself drawn to him despite her better judgment.
As the episode unfolds, the women of Wisteria Lane struggle to maintain the facade of a perfect life while dealing with their own messy realities. "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid" is a poignant reminder that no one is immune from life's challenges, no matter how perfect their life may seem on the surface.
