Ep 3. A Toe in the Water

In Designing Women season 6 episode 3, titled "A Toe in the Water," the ladies of Sugarbaker & Associates receive a surprise visit from an old friend who is looking to move to Atlanta. Despite their conflicting opinions on the matter, Suzanne enlists the help of Julia, Mary Jo, and Charlene to show their friend around town and find her a suitable new home.

As they begin the house hunt, the group finds themselves at odds over what their friend is looking for in a new home. Julia insists on finding her a traditional Southern-style house, while Mary Jo advocates for a modern-style home with all the latest amenities. Charlene, meanwhile, is just happy to be spending time with her friends and tries to keep the peace.

Their search takes them to a variety of different neighborhoods, from upscale high-rises to charming historic districts. Along the way, they encounter some quirky characters, including a pushy real estate agent and a nosy neighbor who insists on getting involved in their business.

As tensions rise and emotions run high, the ladies of Sugarbaker & Associates must work together to find the perfect home for their friend. Along the way, they confront their own personal biases and learn to appreciate each other's perspectives.

In the end, they find a beautiful new home for their friend that meets all her requirements and more. And despite their differences, the ladies of Sugarbaker & Associates come away from the experience with a newfound appreciation for each other and the importance of working together to achieve their goals.
