The show Designing Women follows the lives of four women who run an interior designing firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In season 3 episode 15 titled "Full Moon," the ladies at Sugarbaker's are feeling the effects of a full moon in more ways than one.
The episode begins with the women nervously anticipating the arrival of a client who has hired them to redecorate his apartment. They are surprised when the client turns out to be a handsome young man named J.R., who immediately captures the attention of all the women. J.R. is charming and confident, but Julia and Mary Jo are suspicious of his motives and warn Suzanne not to fall for his charms.
Meanwhile, Charlene is dealing with her own personal issues when she discovers that her husband Bill is having an affair with his secretary. She confides in Julia, who advises her to confront Bill and demand that he end the affair. Charlene is torn between her love for Bill and her desire to protect herself from further hurt.
As the full moon approaches, the women start to experience unusual behavior. Suzanne becomes increasingly infatuated with J.R., who seems to be manipulating her for his own purposes. Mary Jo finds herself attracted to a man she normally would not have given a second glance, and Julia becomes uncharacteristically emotional.
In the midst of all this chaos, the women have to deal with the demands of their client, who is constantly changing his mind about the design of his apartment. They work late into the night, fueled by coffee and adrenaline, and finally manage to complete the project just as the sun is rising.
By the end of the episode, the women have all come to some sort of resolution. Charlene decides to forgive Bill and work on their marriage, despite his past indiscretions. Julia realizes that her emotions were simply a result of the full moon and apologizes for her behavior. Mary Jo decides to pursue a relationship with the man she met, despite their differences. And Suzanne finally sees through J.R.'s facade and ends their brief romance.
Overall, season 3 episode 15 of Designing Women is a fun and lighthearted look at the effects of a full moon on the women of Sugarbaker's. The episode manages to balance humor with deeper issues of love and trust, making it a memorable addition to the series.
