Ep 7. Muzan Kibutsuji

Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko arrive in Asakusa, Tokyo, where they accidentally bump into Zenitsu, another demon slayer. They briefly exchange words and Tanjiro and Nezuko continue on with their mission. However, they soon stumble upon a ghostly presence and investigate. They come across a man who has been possessed by a demon and see firsthand the devastation that demons can cause.

Meanwhile, we are introduced to Muzan Kibutsuji, the primary antagonist of the series. He is a powerful demon who has been alive for centuries and has an insatiable thirst for blood. He has been able to maintain his strength and immortality by constantly creating more and more demons to do his bidding. Even those who were once humans are now under his control, including one of the demon slayers who has gone rogue.

Tanjiro and his companions continue their mission, but are met with several obstacles along the way. First, they are attacked by a powerful demon who is able to control the elements of water and fire. Despite their best efforts, they are unable to defeat him and must retreat. Then, Zenitsu reveals that he is actually a coward and is terrified of demons, causing Tanjiro to question why he is even a demon slayer.

In the end, it is revealed that Muzan Kibutsuji is the one pulling the strings and controlling the actions of the rogue demon slayer and the powerful elemental demon. Tanjiro realizes that he must face Muzan in order to put an end to the demon threat once and for all. However, he knows that the battle ahead of him will be the most difficult he has ever faced, and that his life and the lives of his companions are in grave danger.
