Ep 21. The Heavenly Stone

As Lief, Barda, and Jasmine continue their quest to collect the seven gems of the Belt of Deltora and defeat the evil Shadow Lord, they arrive at the Dread Mountain. On their way to the mountain, they meet Doom, who warns them of the dangers that lie ahead. He also introduces them to Terreocti, the guardian of the Heavenly Stone.

Terreocti is a giant bird-like creature with eight wings and a wise and peaceful demeanor. The Heavenly Stone is a precious gem that has been entrusted to Terreocti by the people of the sky. The gem is said to have special powers that can grant wishes and bring prosperity to the land.

Despite her initial reluctance to help the trio, Terreocti agrees to give them the Heavenly Stone after they convince her of their noble intentions. She warns them, however, that the Shadow Lord will stop at nothing to get his hands on the gem.

As they make their way to retrieve the Heavenly Stone, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine face a number of obstacles, including treacherous cliffs, deadly traps, and fierce beasts. They use their wits and courage to overcome each challenge, but they soon realize that the Shadow Lord's minions are hot on their trail.

In the meantime, the Shadow Lord has unleashed his most powerful servant, the sorceress Thaegan, to retrieve the gem. Thaegan is a formidable foe, with the ability to transform into various creatures and cast spells. She is also fiercely loyal to the Shadow Lord and will stop at nothing to fulfill his wishes.

As the trio approaches Terreocti's nest, they are ambushed by Thaegan and her minions. A fierce battle ensues, with the heroes fighting for their lives against powerful adversaries. Lief, Barda, and Jasmine use their skills and experience to hold their own against the Shadow Lord's forces, but they are outnumbered and outmatched.

Just when all hope seems lost, Terreocti arrives to lend a hand. She uses her powers to create a massive storm, which throws Thaegan and her minions off balance. In the ensuing chaos, Lief manages to grab the Heavenly Stone and escape.

As they make their way back to their camp, the trio reflects on their journey so far and the challenges that lie ahead. They realize that they might have won this battle, but the war against the Shadow Lord is far from over. With renewed determination, they set their sights on the next gem of the Belt of Deltora, vowing to stop at nothing to save their kingdom from the darkness that threatens it.
