Ep 9. Encounter

Light Yagami is a highly intelligent high school student who stumbles upon a mysterious notebook called the Death Note. This supernatural notebook grants its user the power to kill anyone whose name is written in it, as long as the user knows the face of their intended victim. Light decides to use the Death Note to rid the world of criminals and create a utopia, becoming the vigilante Kira in the process.
