Ep 5. Episode 5

DI Goodman and the team are called to investigate when a news team arrives on the idyllic island to interview the island’s esteemed cricket coach, Neville ’Nev’ Chamberlain, only to find him dead in his home. As the team begin to investigate, they discover that Nev had fallen from a ladder, and it looks like an accident, but DI Goodman has his doubts.

As they delve into the investigation, they discover that there are a number of potential suspects, including Nev’s assistant coach Aaron Campbell, who was hoping to take over from Nev, and reporter Saffron Tyler-Crane, who has been sniffing around the island looking for a big scoop. They also discover that Nev’s wife, Natasha, had recently taken out a huge life insurance policy on him, leading them to suspect that she may have had something to do with his death.

As the team continues to investigate, they uncover a web of lies and deceit that leads them to a shocking conclusion about Nev’s death.

Meanwhile, Dwayne meets a new woman, who turns out to be a fortune teller. When she predicts that he will soon find love, he becomes determined to make it happen. However, his attempts to win over the object of his affection are not without their challenges.

With some great performances from the cast, and plenty of twists and turns along the way, this episode of Death in Paradise is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
