In Death in Paradise Season 6 Episode 2, DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and his team investigate the murder of a marine biologist on the island of Saint Marie. The victim, Dr. Emma Redding (Hannah Spearritt), was found dead on the beach with a stab wound in her chest.
As the team delves into Emma's life, they discover that she was involved in a complex love triangle with two other marine biologists, Professor David Arnold (Peter Davison) and Dr. James Langrishe (Kwame Kwei-Armah). Both men had motives for wanting Emma out of the picture, but neither seems capable of murder.
Meanwhile, Humphrey struggles to write a speech for his estranged father's funeral, which he is scheduled to deliver via video message. He seeks advice from his colleagues, but their attempts to help only lead to frustration and self-doubt.
As the investigation continues, the team uncovers a web of lies and deceit among the marine biologists, and ultimately, the killer is revealed in a shocking twist.
Along the way, viewers are treated to the stunning scenery and colorful culture of Saint Marie, as well as the wit and charm of the show's beloved cast of characters. With plenty of humor, intrigue, and heart, Death in Paradise Season 6 Episode 2 is a must-see for fans of the series.
