Without Pity is the third episode of season 7 of Deadly Women. This episode explores the cases of three different female killers who showed no mercy to their victims.
The first case is that of Maria del Rosio Alfaro, who murdered the wife of her lover in a brutal manner. Alfaro had been having an affair with the husband, and when the wife found out, she threatened to leave him. Alfaro could not bear the thought of losing her lover and took matters into her own hands. She viciously attacked the wife with a hammer and then slit her throat. Despite evidence against her, Alfaro pleaded not guilty and maintained her innocence throughout the trial.
The second case involves Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who suffered years of abuse at the hands of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Dee Dee had convinced everyone that her daughter was seriously ill, leading to numerous medical treatments and surgeries. Gypsy was forced to act sickly and always wore a wig to cover up her shaved head. When Gypsy became aware of her mother's lies, she plotted with her boyfriend to kill Dee Dee. The pair would later be found guilty of first-degree murder.
The final case centers around Susan Wright, who murdered her husband, Jeff. Susan and Jeff had been having marital problems, and Susan had suspected Jeff of having an affair. One night, Susan took matters into her own hands and tied up her husband, ultimately stabbing him 193 times. She then buried the body in a shallow grave in their backyard. During the trial, Susan claimed that she had acted in self-defense and that Jeff had been abusive towards her. However, the prosecution argued that Susan had premeditated the murder.
Each of these cases showcases a different motivation for murder and the lengths that some women will go to in order to get what they want. The episode explores the psychological aspects of each case and the various factors that led these women to commit such heinous acts.
Overall, Without Pity is a chilling episode of Deadly Women that highlights the darker side of human nature. It serves as a reminder that anyone is capable of violence under the right circumstances and that we must always be vigilant in protecting ourselves and our loved ones.
