In Deadly Women season 13 episode 9, titled "Blood Money," viewers are taken on a journey through the dark world of female killers who commit crimes for profit. The episode features three chilling cases of women who were driven by financial gain to take the lives of others.

The first case involves a young woman named Diane Borchardt who was a high school teacher in Wisconsin. Diane became involved with a student named Doug Vest who was also a drug dealer. When Doug threatened to implicate her in his drug business, Diane hatched a plan to have him murdered. She enlisted the help of three of her students to carry out the killing, promising them a cut of the insurance money she would receive after Doug's death.

The second case follows the story of Terri Huffman, a former beauty queen who had it all – money, looks and a loving husband. However, when Terri's husband became ill and their finances began to dwindle, Terri turned to a life of crime. She began to forge checks and eventually plotted to kill her husband in order to collect his life insurance policy. Terri's greed led her to recruit a man named Darrell Bolton to carry out the murder, but the plan went awry and Terri was eventually caught and sentenced to life in prison.

The final case involves a woman named Dana Ewell who came from a wealthy family and enjoyed a life of luxury. However, when Dana's father cut her off financially, she became obsessed with regaining her fortune. She enlisted the help of two friends to carry out a plan to kill her entire family, including her father, mother and younger brother. Dana hoped to inherit her family's wealth and live the life of luxury she was accustomed to. However, after the murders were committed, Dana was caught and sentenced to life in prison.

Throughout the episode, viewers are taken inside the minds of these deadly women as the show explores their motivation for committing murder. The episode examines the role that money and greed played in each case, and how these women were willing to go to any lengths to achieve financial gain.

The show is narrated by Lynn Fairleigh, who guides viewers through each case with insight and commentary.
