Deadly Recall is a true crime show that premiered on Investigation Discovery in 2019. The series stars retired Nashville homicide detective Pat Postiglione as he looks back on some of the most challenging and high-profile cases of his career. Each episode of Deadly Recall focuses on a particular case, with Postiglione providing insight into the investigation process and the intricacies of solving a homicide. From the initial crime scene investigation to the arrest and trial of the suspect, viewers are taken on a journey through the complex web of evidence and clues that Postiglione and his team uncovered.

One of the standout features of Deadly Recall is the way in which Postiglione is able to provide a humanizing perspective on the victims of these crimes. Whether it's a teenager who went missing after a night out with friends or a homeless man who was brutally beaten to death, Postiglione goes out of his way to ensure that the victims are not forgotten amidst the details of the investigation.

In many cases, Postiglione's own experiences as a detective in Nashville shine through in the show. Having worked in the city's police department for over 25 years, he is intimately familiar with the challenges of investigating in a community that is all too often plagued by violent crime. But he also brings a level of empathy and understanding to each case that is sometimes lacking in other true crime shows.

One of the most notable episodes of Deadly Recall is "The Gold Rush Murders," which tells the story of a married couple who were found brutally murdered in their home. Postiglione and his team initially had no leads in the case, but eventually discovered that the couple had been involved in an elaborate scam involving the sale of gold coins. Through interviews with witnesses and extensive forensic analysis, Postiglione was able to unravel the complicated scheme and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Another episode, "On Her Own," focuses on the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl who went missing after leaving a party. Postiglione worked tirelessly to investigate the various leads in the case, and eventually found himself face-to-face with the prime suspect - a young man who had previously been acquitted of murder charges. The episode offers a rare insight into the challenges of investigating crimes involving minors, and the emotional trauma that can result from a missing persons case.

Overall, Deadly Recall offers a fresh and compelling perspective on the true crime genre. With Pat Postiglione at the helm, the show is able to provide unparalleled insight into the complexities of homicide investigations, as well as the impact that these crimes can have on the victims and their families. For anyone interested in true crime, Deadly Recall is a must-watch.
