After his most successful season yet, Casey is looking to the future of the Cornelia Marie and what she is capable of. And, with an additional million dollars of quota to catch next season, the old girl is in need of a major update. From the Wheelhouse, to the engine room, to the hull, and even the rudders, it's all hands on deck as Casey oversees the massive top-to-bottom transformation of this old boat to the crabber of the future. From a young age, it was clear that Casey had a passion for fishing. The son of legendary fisherman, Jim McManus, Casey was eager to learn all facets of the industry, including the mechanics, and jumped at the chance to Co-Captain with Josh on the rundown, Cornelia Marie. And while the unlikely duo got off to rocky a start, they surprised the fleet when they not only found their groove, but also became formidable competitors to all. Wanting to spark the same passion in the next generation of McManus men, Casey encourages his five-year-old son, Charlie, to help out at Shipyard. And as the entire crew works hard to meet their close approaching deadline, they are hit with one setback after another. Mistakes could cost Casey a season of profits and possibly next season's additional million dollars in quota.
