Ep 5. Unreasonable Doubt

Johnny Smith starts to help a death row inmate named Alex Conners, who is convicted of murdering a young woman named Jessica Mallory. Alex's family hires Johnny to use his psychic abilities to prove Alex's innocence, but as Johnny starts to investigate, he becomes convinced of Alex's guilt. However, when he tries to share his findings with Alex's lawyer, they are dismissed. Johnny's sanity is put to the test as he struggles with the possibility of putting an innocent man to death, while also trying to keep Jessica's killer from going free. Meanwhile, Sarah Bannerman struggles with her feelings for Johnny, and a surprise visitor from Johnny's past arrives in town.
