In DC Super Hero Girls season 2 episode 1, titled "Super Hero High," we are reintroduced to the world of Super Hero High School, where our favorite DC female superheroes attend. The episode starts off with a bang as we see Wonder Woman (voiced by Grey Griffin), Supergirl (voiced by Nicole Sullivan), Batgirl (voiced by Mae Whitman), Bumblebee (voiced by Kimberly Brooks), Zatanna (voiced by Kari Wahlgren), and Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern (voiced by Cristina Milizia) battling a horde of evil aliens.
After successfully defeating the aliens, the girls are congratulated by Principal Amanda Waller (voiced by Yvette Nicole Brown) and her robotic assistant, Vice Principal Gorilla Grodd (voiced by Tom Kenny). Principal Waller gives a speech to the students and staff about the importance of teamwork and how it's crucial for the girls to work together to protect their school and the world.
The episode then follows each of the superheroes as they navigate their way through their classes and their personal lives. Batgirl is tasked with creating a new computer program for her class, but she's having a hard time coming up with something original. Zatanna is preparing for a magic competition, and she's struggling with mastering a new spell. Bumblebee is running for class president, but she's having trouble getting her campaign off the ground. Supergirl is trying to balance her superhero duties with her schoolwork, and Wonder Woman is trying to figure out how to fit in and make friends.
As the day progresses, the girls' individual struggles begin to intersect with each other. They each find themselves in situations where they need the help of their friends to succeed. Batgirl asks Bumblebee for help with her computer program, and Bumblebee asks Batgirl for help with her campaign. Zatanna and Jessica Cruz team up to help each other overcome their respective challenges, and Supergirl and Wonder Woman discover that sometimes all you need is a friend to talk to.
The episode culminates with the girls coming together to help Bumblebee with her campaign. They put on a concert in the courtyard to attract voters, and their performance is a huge success. Bumblebee ends up winning the election, and the girls celebrate their victory by performing a song together.
