Melinda Trask, the newly appointed D.A. in Salem, appears to be going after Ben Weston with a vengeance in this episode of Days of our Lives. Ben has been leading a quiet life since his release from prison for his serial killings but his romantic link to the innocent daughter of the victim, Ciara Brady, has put him in the crosshairs of Trask who is determined to show everyone how she can handle the tough cases that come her way.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Salem, Sarah Horton is making some bold moves -- in her relationship with Eric. After months of letting her love for him go completely unrequited, she finally confesses her feelings to Eric. Hoping for a reciprocation, Sarah sets up a dinner date to give Eric an opportunity to really think about his feelings for her. Will he respond the way that she desires?

Elsewhere in the episode, the search to locate Adrienne Kiriakis' doppelganger continues. As fans know, Adrienne perished in a devastating car accident, leaving her husband Justin in the throes of grief. But in the time since her untimely death, a woman with an uncanny resemblance to Adrienne has surfaced. Justin is convinced that this woman is actually his beloved wife, come back to him in some strange twist of fate. Realizing he will need some help to prove her true identity, Justin enlists the help of Steve Johnson who is more than happy to aid him in his quest.

In another corner of Salem, Will and Sonny are still reeling from their separation - which was caused by Will's alcoholism. While they both continue to love each other, each is hesitant to take the initial steps towards reconciliation. Unfortunately for these two dueling hearts, they are not exactly left alone to figure out their issues in peace. Adrienne's doppelganger, Bonnie, becomes unexpectedly involved in their relationship, leading to all kinds of complications and drama that neither could have anticipated.

In other news, Rafe is still trying to come to grips with the loss of his wife Hope who has decided to take a leave of absence from the Salem P.D. now that their relationship has crumbled. To compound Rafe's personal struggles, he becomes embroiled in an investigation into the safety of one of the children in Salem. Rafe ends up crossing paths with Haley Chen, who has been hiding in plain sight in Salem -- thanks to her fake marriage to JJ Devereux. Rafe becomes determined to figure out who Haley really is and what she is doing in Salem.

Last but not least, Marlena's obsession to find a cure for her husband John's amnesia has finally led her to Diana Colville. Marlena is convinced that Diana may hold some secrets to John's lost memories and goes to extreme lengths to pressure her for information. Diana resists, however, putting Marlena in an uncomfortable position.
