Darkwing and Launchpad must team up with a new ally, Gosalyn Mallard, in order to stop Bushroot and save the citizens of St. Canard once again. Gosalyn is a tough-talking, fearless young girl who has a knack for getting into trouble. She initially seems like an unlikely ally, but proves to be a valuable addition to Darkwing's team.
As they battle their way through Bushroot's lair, the trio encounters various plant-animals, including a vine-covered bulldog and a cactus-like monster. Despite the odds, they manage to defeat Bushroot and his army of plant-animals, freeing the citizens of St. Canard once again.
The episode ends with Darkwing, Launchpad, and Gosalyn settling in for another night of television. However, when Darkwing discovers that his favorite show has been cancelled, he vows to take action to get it back on the air. The episode ends on a humorous note as Darkwing yells out, "Let's get dangerous!" and the trio sets off on their next adventure.
