Ep 37. Heavy Mental

Darkwing Duck season 1 episode 37 is titled "Heavy Mental" and follows our hero, Darkwing Duck, as he faces off against a formidable foe who uses the power of mind control to get their way.

The episode begins with a group of thieves breaking into a top-secret government facility to steal a mind control device. Meanwhile, Darkwing Duck is busy fighting crime on the streets of St. Canard until he stumbles upon the same group of thieves.

As Darkwing attempts to thwart the theft, he is hit by a beam from the mind control device, and the next thing he knows, he is following the commands of the thieves. They order him to steal a valuable gemstone from the museum, and Darkwing, under their control, readily obliges.

Meanwhile, the rest of the city is left wondering what has gotten into Darkwing Duck as he carries out the thieves' orders. It's not until he returns to the thieves' hideout that his sidekick Launchpad discovers the mind control device. Together, they set out to stop the thieves and put an end to their scheme.

As they make their way through the lair, Darkwing falls under the mind control spell again, but this time he begins to fight it. Launchpad helps snap him out of it, and the two of them team up to take down the thieves and destroy the mind control device.

In the end, Darkwing Duck is hailed as a hero throughout St. Canard, and the city knows they can always count on him to fight against mind control and other forms of evil.
