Dark/Web is a thrilling new series that explores the darker side of the internet. Each episode follows a different character as they navigate the terrifying world of the deep web, where anonymity reigns supreme and anything can happen.
Chapter One introduces us to Molly Solis, a struggling journalist who is looking for her big break. She stumbles upon a mysterious website called the "Darknet Diaries," which promises to reveal the truth about the dark side of the internet. Intrigued, she begins to investigate, but quickly realizes that the deeper she delves, the more dangerous it becomes.
As Molly begins to uncover the secrets of the Darknet Diaries, she becomes the target of a group of hackers who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets. It soon becomes clear that Molly is in over her head, and she must rely on her wits and resourcefulness if she wants to survive.
The episode is fast-paced and action-packed, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The acting is superb, with standout performances from Noemi Gonzalez as Molly and Siobhan Fallon Hogan as her tough-as-nails editor, Lorraine. The writing is sharp and intelligent, with plenty of references to real-world internet culture and technology.
Overall, Chapter One is an excellent start to Dark/Web. It sets the tone for the rest of the series, introducing us to the complex and dangerous world of the deep web. The episode leaves plenty of room for further exploration of the series' themes, and it will undoubtedly leave viewers hungry for more.
