In the first episode of Dark Matter, we are introduced to a group of six people who wake up from stasis aboard a spaceship with no recollection of who they are or how they got there. They must learn to trust one another while also navigating the mysteries surrounding their situation. Outside the ship, they encounter a dangerous and mysterious group known as the Galactic Authority, who seem to be determined to capture or kill the crew.
Throughout the episode, tensions run high as the crew grapples with their newfound identities and the danger they face. They must quickly learn to work together if they hope to survive, while also keeping their past a secret from one another.
