Daniel Boone is an American television show that revolves around the life of American pioneer and frontiersman, Daniel Boone. The show aired for six seasons from 1964 to 1970 and starred Fess Parker in the titular role.

Season 2 episode 17 named Seminole Territory is set in the early 1770s when the American West was still largely uncharted territory. The episode begins with Daniel Boone and his friends, Yadkin and Mingo, traveling through the wilderness on their way to meet with a group of settlers who are looking to start a new settlement. However, their journey is interrupted when they come across a group of Seminole Indians who are angry about the encroachment of white settlers on their land.

The Seminole Indians are led by Chief Osceola, who is unwilling to negotiate with the white settlers and demands that they leave their land immediately. Daniel Boone tries to reason with the Chief and explain to him that the settlers don't mean any harm, but Osceola is adamant in his refusal to allow any new settlements on his land.

The situation becomes even more complicated when an old friend of Daniel's, Will Bailey, turns up in the area. Will has been living with the Seminole Indians for several years and has become very close to them, especially Chief Osceola. Will tries to help Daniel and his friends negotiate with the Chief, but he too fails to make any headway.

Meanwhile, the settlers who are waiting for Daniel and his friends to arrive are growing increasingly impatient. They have been waiting for weeks for Daniel to lead them to their new home and are running out of food and supplies. The situation becomes even more desperate when they are attacked by a group of French soldiers who are in the area to support the Seminole Indians.

Daniel and his friends realize that they need to act fast if they want to save the settlers and avoid a full-blown war with the Seminole Indians. They decide to take a new approach and try to win over the Chief's son, Little Osceola, who is much more willing to listen to reason.

The episode ends with Daniel Boone and his friends managing to convince Little Osceola to help them negotiate with his father. They manage to reach a compromise that allows the settlers to start their new settlement, while also respecting the Seminole Indians' right to live on their ancestral land. Overall, the episode is a thrilling adventure that showcases the struggles and triumphs of pioneering life in early America.
