Mrs Pearson is upset when her husband, Desmond, seems to have disappeared from Prague. The man at the British Embassy is unsympathetic but the ambassador knows he is an M9 agent. He is an important contact for an agent from behind the iron curtain. Drake is sent to find out what is happening by posing as an Embassy employee with a weakness for alcohol.
