Ep 15. In Her Dreams

In Her Dreams begins with Cybill (Cybill Shepherd) waking up from a strange dream about her ex-husband, Ira (Alan Rosenberg). She can't shake the feeling that something is wrong and decides to call and check on him. Ira is surprised and a bit annoyed at her concern, but assures her that everything is fine.

Meanwhile, Zoey (Alicia Witt) is thrilled to have landed a job hosting a new show on public access television. However, when she discovers that the show is actually a platform for a right-wing political agenda, she begins to have second thoughts. Cybill and Maryann attend a high-end charity auction, where they bid on and win a pricey painting. When they go to pick it up, they discover that the artist is a former flame of Maryann's. Awkwardness ensues, but they eventually overcome their discomfort and enjoy catching up.

Cybill is stunned and immediately tries to offer support, but Ira insists that he needs to figure things out on his own. Cybill is torn between wanting to respect Ira's wishes and wanting to make sure he is okay.
