Ep 2. Totally Rad

The show Cyberchase is an animated children's program that focuses on introducing math concepts to its viewers. In season 2, episode 2 titled "Totally Rad," the CyberSquad is taken on a journey that introduces them to the world of radio waves.

The CyberSquad is initially hesitant, but they soon find themselves caught up in a wave-riding competition. Slider is competing against his arch-nemesis, The Hacker, for control of the waves. The Hacker is also attempting to use the waves to take over Cyberspace and needs a powerful energy source to do so. This energy, he believes, can be found by tapping into the power of radio waves.

The CyberSquad soon realizes that they have to win the wave competition to prevent The Hacker from gaining control of the energy source. They enlist the help of a radio engineer named Max who offers to help them understand how radio waves work and how to surf them effectively.

The rest of the episode follows the team as they learn about the different elements of radio waves, such as frequency and amplitude, and figure out how to use this knowledge to control their direction on the waves. They also learn that radio waves come in different forms, such as microwaves, x-rays, and infrared radiation.

As they approach the final stages of the competition, Slider is injured and can no longer compete. The CyberSquad is left with the daunting task of competing against The Hacker alone. They take everything they have learned about radio waves and energy sources and use it to their advantage. The team works together to ride the biggest, most powerful wave in the competition and win the challenge, effectively thwarting The Hacker's plans.

With Cyberspace safe once again, the CyberSquad says their goodbyes to Slider and the Wave World and makes their way home. The episode ends with the group reflecting on the importance of understanding the power of technology and how to use it for the betterment of society.
