In the season 9 episode 4 of Curious George titled "Happy Valentine's Day, George / Oh Deer," George and his friends celebrate Valentine's Day with love and kindness. The episode starts with George eagerly preparing for Valentine's Day and making a card for his animal friends. George and Bill join hands and together they spread Valentine's Day cheer by giving gifts and cards to their friends.
Next, George finds a heart shaped box in the park, and he decides to return it to its rightful owner. Along with his friend Marco, George goes on a mission to find the owner of the mysterious heart-shaped box. During their journey, they face several obstacles such as losing the box and getting lost themselves. However, their determination to find the owner of the box never falters. When they finally find the owner, they discover that the box made from recycled plastic is very meaningful to her, as it was a gift from her late husband. As the day continues, George and his friend Hundley walk through the park and stumble upon a treasure hunt organized by their owner, the Man. However, the Man accidentally scatters the chocolates when he startles Hundley while trying to take a picture of him. The duo helps the Man collect the chocolates and put them back into the box. George quickly realizes that the deer needs help and he rushes to get his friend Maggie, who is a wildlife scientist. Maggie examines the deer and declares that it needs to go to the animal hospital.
Together, Maggie, George, and the Man carry the deer into the hospital, where they meet Dr. Baker. The doctor assesses the deer's condition and instructs them to bring him inside the hospital so that he could run some tests. However, the deer is too scared to follow them. George tries to befriend the deer and encourages it to enter the hospital. With George's help and encouragement, the deer eventually gains the courage to enter the hospital.
The doctor runs several tests and declares that the deer would need surgery. However, the surgery would require equipment not available in the hospital. George and the Man volunteer to get the necessary equipment, which they do, but not without some adventure and humor along the way.
