Curious George (US) season 2 episode 18 is entitled "King Doggie / The Lucky Cap." In this episode, George goes on two exciting adventures.
In the first half of the episode, "King Doggie," George helps out a little dog named Hundley who dreams of becoming a king. Hundley is feeling very down because the other dogs in the apartment building won't let him play with them. But when George sees how upset Hundley is, he comes up with a brilliant idea - he will help Hundley become a king!
George starts by making Hundley a crown out of construction paper and then a cape out of a towel. Hundley is so excited to wear his new outfit that he starts barking like a little king. But George doesn't stop there - he also builds a royal throne for Hundley to sit on and a castle out of cardboard boxes.
To complete the royal experience, George gathers all the other dogs in the building and invites them to Hundley's castle for a royal ball. He even dresses up as a royal chef and makes special treats for the occasion. At the ball, Hundley is the star attraction and all the other dogs bow to him as their king. Hundley is overjoyed and grateful to George for making his dream come true.
In the second half of the episode, "The Lucky Cap," George finds a lucky cap on the street and decides to wear it for the day. The problem is, every time George wears the cap, something bad happens. For example, when George wears the cap to the park, a gust of wind blows the cap off his head and it lands in a pond. Then, when George wears the cap to a restaurant, he spills his drink on himself and ruins his new shirt.
George realizes that the cap isn't so lucky after all and decides to get rid of it. But when he throws it away, the cap bounces off a trash can and lands on the head of a man who is having a really bad day. Suddenly, the man's bad luck turns around and he wins a prize at a carnival game. The man and his family are so happy, they buy George a prize too - a set of magnetic blocks.
In the end, George learns that luck can be unpredictable and that it's important to make your own luck by being kind and helpful to others.
