Ep 3. 2020 Cure Bowl: Liberty vs. Coastal Carolina

The 2020 Cure Bowl is here, featuring Liberty and Coastal Carolina facing off for the championship title. Liberty has had a strong season, led by quarterback Malik Willis who has thrown for over 2,200 yards and rushed for over 800 yards. Coastal Carolina, on the other hand, has been on a roll, going undefeated for the season and finishing ranked 12th in the nation.
Both teams come out strong, with Liberty scoring first with a field goal. Coastal Carolina quickly answers with a touchdown, taking the lead 7-3. The game remains close throughout the first half, with both teams exchanging touchdowns and field goals. With just seconds left in the half, Liberty scores a touchdown, putting them ahead 21-14 going into halftime.
In the second half, Coastal Carolina comes out fired up, scoring a quick touchdown to tie the game at 21-21. Liberty responds with a touchdown of their own, but Coastal Carolina answers back with another touchdown to tie the game at 28-28. With just over six minutes left in the game, Coastal Carolina takes the lead with a field goal. Liberty tries to mount a comeback, but they are unable to score, and Coastal Carolina wins the game 31-28.
Despite the loss, Liberty put up a strong fight and proved themselves to be a worthy opponent. Coastal Carolina celebrates their victory, capping off an undefeated season with a Cure Bowl championship title.
