In Curb Your Enthusiasm season 6 episode 9, titled "The Therapist," Larry David finds himself in hot water after a misunderstanding with his therapist. Larry agrees to visit a therapist to try to relieve some of the stress he's feeling, but things take a turn when his therapist suggests that he needs to work on his anger issues.
Larry takes offense to this suggestion and instead of discussing his issues, he becomes more defensive and confrontational. This leads to a heated argument between the two, resulting in Larry storming out of the office.
Despite his anger towards his therapist, Larry continues to attend his sessions, hoping to prove that he doesn't have anger issues. But things continue to spiral out of control as Larry's therapist makes him increasingly uncomfortable and starts to overstep her boundaries.
Meanwhile, Larry's friend Jeff finds himself in an awkward situation when he accidentally sends an explicit email to his daughter's fiancé instead of his wife. As Jeff tries to rectify the situation, Larry becomes more and more involved, offering unsolicited advice and making things worse.
In typical Curb Your Enthusiasm fashion, the episode is full of cringe-worthy moments and awkward situations, punctuated by Larry's unique ability to say exactly the wrong thing at the wrong time. Fans of the series will not be disappointed by the latest installment in Larry David's misadventures.
