Larry David returns to his hit series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" with season 6 episode 2 titled "The Anonymous Donor." The episode begins with Larry visiting his interior decorator, Cheryl, in the hospital after a recent surgery. While there, he notices a mostly empty semen bank and decides to become an anonymous donor.
As Larry discovers the donation process, he becomes obsessed with making sure his donations are used for a good cause. He does some digging and learns that the semen is being used by a lesbian couple who are trying to conceive a child. Larry becomes fixated on ensuring that his donation isn't used for a male-male couple or a single woman.
Meanwhile, Larry's long-time friend, Jeff, has become a proud new father. Jeff's wife, Susie, is thrilled but warns Larry not to make a big deal about the baby's bris. Larry can't help himself and asks Jeff about the details of the ceremony, only to discover that they've hired a controversial mohel who he doesn't trust.
The episode follows Larry as he navigates the tough waters of being an anonymous donor and trying to control what his donation is used for. Larry's meddling with the bris and his reluctance to perform social small talk with his friends at a party add humor to the already hilarious episode.
Throughout the episode, Larry also tries to avoid his beloved FiOS repairman, who he believes is trying to rip him off. After the technician gives him a new remote control, Larry becomes convinced that he has a rare disease from germs on the remote and has to seek medical attention.
Overall, "The Anonymous Donor" is a classic episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" that will have viewers laughing from start to finish. Larry's neurotic behavior and absurd situations make for a truly entertaining half-hour of television.
