In CSI: NY season 7 episode 12, titled "Holding Cell," the team investigates a case involving the death of a prisoner in a holding cell. The victim, a young man, was arrested for identity theft and was awaiting trial in the cell when he died.
As the team begins to investigate, they discover that the victim had been involved in a fight with another inmate just before his death. The team must determine whether the fight was the cause of the victim's death or if there is something more sinister at play.
