Ep 5. Ashes to Ashes

A burned-out car with a charred body inside is found by a teenage couple, and the CSI: Miami team is called in to investigate. Horatio and his team are soon able to identify the victim as a registered sex offender, which leads to a lengthy list of potential suspects. The team discovers that the victim had a girlfriend, who is also in the sex offender registry, and that her sister is missing. While searching for the sister, the team uncovers a dark world of illegal fights where minors are exploited for profit. As they investigate further, Horatio and his team realize that the victim's girlfriend and her sister are in danger, and they race against time to save them from becoming the next victims in this dangerous world. In the end, the team is able to solve the case and close another chapter in Miami's criminal underworld.
