When a body is found stuffed in a duffel bag with no identification, the Las Vegas CSI team is tasked with identifying the victim and tracking down the killer in season 7 episode 12 of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation titled "Sweet Jane."
The victim, a young woman, proves difficult to identify, as she has no identification and her fingerprints are not in any database. The team's investigation leads them to a photo booth where they find pictures of the victim with a man and a child.
Meanwhile, the team is also investigating a report of a missing teenager who happens to match the description of the victim in the duffel bag. As the investigation continues, the two cases begin to intersect.
To complicate matters, the team is also dealing with the fallout from a previous case in which a man was wrongly accused of murder and spent years in prison. The man's daughter, who was a suspect in the original case, re-enters the picture and brings new evidence to light that may clear her father's name.
As the team pieces together the clues, they begin to unravel a web of lies and deceit that ultimately leads them to the killer.
With intense forensic analysis, clever detective work, and a touch of personal drama, "Sweet Jane" delivers the gripping crime-solving drama that fans of the series have come to know and love.
