In the season 5 episode 2 of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, titled "Down the Drain," the CSI team investigates the death of a man found in a bathtub filled with corrosive liquid.
The episode begins with the discovery of the body by a maid at a luxury hotel. The man, identified as a wealthy businessman, appears to have been dissolved in a highly acidic solution, leaving only his bones behind. The CSI team, led by Gil Grissom (William Petersen), begins the arduous task of processing the crime scene and collecting evidence.
As the investigation progresses, the team discovers that the victim may have been involved in an illegal drug trafficking operation. They begin to piece together a complex web of clues and suspects, including the victim's ex-wife, a loan shark, and a dangerous drug lord.
