It's another day in Las Vegas, and the team at the Crime Scene Investigation lab is presented with a new case. In this episode, titled "One Hit Wonder," the team investigates the death of a washed-up rock star named Bobby Ray.
As expected, the team members are quickly on the case, collecting evidence and looking for clues as to what happened to the former musical sensation. While Bobby Ray was known for his wild partying lifestyle in his heyday, he had been relatively quiet and out of the public eye in recent years.
Despite this, the team discovers that he had been working on a new album, which had garnered some attention by his old fans and even a few new ones. With no immediate suspects or obvious motives, the team sets out to uncover who may have had a reason to kill the troubled musician.
As they dig deeper, the team discovers that Bobby Ray had been involved in a bitter legal battle with his former bandmates over the rights to their old songs. Could this have been a motive for murder? Or was it someone from the singer's own entourage, jealous of his sudden success with his new album?
As the investigation continues, the team also learns more about Bobby Ray himself, including some dark secrets from his past. One such secret involves the death of a young woman many years ago, a death that had long been ruled an accident but may have actually been a murder.
As the team begins to piece together the evidence, they find themselves facing not just one but multiple suspects, each with their own potential motives for wanting Bobby Ray out of the picture. Alliances are formed, secrets are revealed, and the race to solve the case becomes more urgent as new evidence comes to light.
Will the team be able to solve the murder of one-hit wonder Bobby Ray? Or will his killer walk free? Watch this gripping episode to find out.
