Ep 15. Acts of Mercy

Jordan and Nigel investigate the death of a man who was found in a dumpster. The man turns out to be a former assistant district attorney, and the cause of death is determined to be a drug overdose. However, when the team discovers that the man had been working pro bono on a case involving an innocent man facing the death penalty, they begin to wonder if his death was actually a murder committed by those who didn't want the case to be overturned.

Meanwhile, Macy and Woody investigate the death of a woman who was found in her apartment. The woman, who was suffering from MS, had been receiving illegal treatments from a man claiming to be a doctor. The investigation leads Macy and Woody to a clinic where a group of patients are receiving similar treatments.

As the two investigations progress, Jordan begins to question her own judgment when her involvement in a case jeopardizes its outcome. Meanwhile, Garret faces a personal crisis when he realizes that he may have misdiagnosed a patient who has since died.

Through it all, the team must work together to solve the cases and bring justice to those who have been wronged. But as they dig deeper into the details, they begin to realize that there are more questions than answers, and that the truth may be more complicated than they ever imagined.
