A young woman, Amy Ramsey, is found dead in a Santa Claus suit, and Hoyt needs Jordan's expertise to help solve the puzzling case.
Jordan reluctantly agrees to assist Hoyt, but is disappointed that she has to spend Christmas away from her family. She and Hoyt set to work, and along the way, they discover that Amy was a drug addict, and had been working as a stripper to make ends meet. The team also discovers that the Santa suit was not the only clothing Amy was wearing that night - there was evidence that she had been wearing a bra designed for nursing mothers.

Jordan and Hoyt work tirelessly to find the baby, and their work leads them to the home of a disgruntled former employee of the hospital where Amy gave birth. In a tense and dramatic climax, Jordan and Hoyt confront the kidnapper and rescue the baby, reuniting it with its father.
As Christmas day comes to a close, Jordan is happy that she was able to solve the case and reunite the family, but she is still sad that she wasn't able to spend the holiday with her own family.
