Criminal is a gripping thriller series from Netflix that kept viewers on edge with its three-season run between 2019 to 2020. Set entirely inside a police interrogation room, Criminal explores what happens when law enforcement officers try to obtain answers from suspects in various high-profile cases.

The show features a talented ensemble cast who skillfully portray characters on both sides of the interrogation table. Margot Bancilhon plays Caroline, a competent and passionate investigator who applies her psychological expertise to try to crack suspects with her probing questions. Alongside her is her partner, Inspector Rakel (Nathalie Baye), who brings years of experience to the table and offers a valuable perspective on each case.

On the other side of the interrogation room, we are introduced to an array of suspects of different backgrounds, each having their unique stories and reasons for being under suspicion. One standout performance comes from Laurent Lucas, who plays Julien Baptiste, a teacher suspected of murder. In his interrogation, viewers get to witness a masterclass in acting as he blurs the line between guilt and innocence.
