The detectives verify the couple's claims and find them to be true after cross-checking the adoption papers.
The episode ends with the team successfully reuniting the baby with her mother, who is overjoyed to have her daughter back. The detectives also arrest the middleman, Raju, who is charged with kidnapping and selling an infant.
