Ep 2. Episode 2

Creating Destiny is a South Korean drama series that revolves around the lives of two families. The story is about creating your own destiny with the choices you make in life. In episode 2, we continue to follow the lives of these families as they start a new chapter in their lives.

He is excited to come back to Korea and start a new business with his father. He meets his childhood best friend Kim Yeo-jin (played by Kim Jung-nan), who is a journalist, at the airport. They catch up on old times and Sang-eun tells her about his plans.

Meanwhile, Sae-byeok attends the PTA meeting with other parents and teachers. She is surprised to know that Yoo-jin's grades are not only poor in academics but also in extracurricular activities. She decides to take a leave of absence from work to help Yoo-jin improve his grades. She meets her ex-husband and Yoo-jin's father, Kim Tae-won (played by Cho Hyun-jae), who is now remarried and has a new family. They discuss Yoo-jin's future and how they can help him in his studies.

Sang-eun meets his father, Han In-soo (played by Jung Han-yong), who is the CEO of the Han Corporation, a leading company in Korea. His father is not happy with Sang-eun's decision to start a new business with him and wants him to join the family business. In-soo explains to Sang-eun that he needs to understand the family values and work with him to take the company to new heights.

Sang-eun is confused about his future and seeks advice from Yeo-jin. She tells him that he needs to find his own path and not just follow his family's footsteps. She also reveals that she likes him, but Sang-eun is not ready for a relationship as he is focused on starting his own business.

The episode ends with Sae-byeok starting to teach Yoo-jin at home. She struggles to make him understand the concepts and realizes that it is not as easy as she thought it would be. Sang-eun meets his first client for his new business and tries to impress him with his ideas. Tae-won meets his new wife and daughter and is worried about their future.
