Rebecca Bunch is back again in the fourth season of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and she's still trying to figure out her life. In season 4 episode 4 titled "I'm Making Up for Lost Time", Rebecca is still trying to make up for her past mistakes.
The episode opens with Rebecca heading back to New York after spending some time in West Covina. She's determined to make things right and go back to school, but she's hit with a roadblock when her application is rejected. Her first instinct is to give up, but her therapist encourages her to keep pushing forward.
Meanwhile, Nathaniel is struggling with his own issues as he tries to find a way to tell his father that he doesn't want to take over the family business. But his plans are derailed when his father suffers a heart attack, leaving him to take over the company. Nathaniel's feelings of inadequacy are heightened when he discovers that his father has been grooming another employee to take over instead of him.
As Rebecca tries to figure out her next move, she reconnects with an old friend from her past named Jason. Jason is a successful businessman who seems to have everything figured out, and Rebecca sees him as an inspiration to help her get her own life on track. However, as she spends more time with him, she begins to realize that he's not as perfect as he seems.
At the same time, Paula is dealing with her own struggles as she tries to balance her job and her family life. Her son is having trouble adjusting to high school, and she's worried that he's going down the wrong path. But when she tries to intervene, she only makes things worse.
Throughout the episode, we see the characters dealing with their own insecurities and trying to find their way in the world. Rebecca in particular is struggling with her sense of self-worth and her ability to move on from her past mistakes.
