Crash Canyon is a Canadian animated television series that aired from 2011 to 2013. The show is produced by Ammo Content and features the voices of several notable actors including Tara Strong and Jennifer Irwin. The series follows the story of the Wendell family, who after a plane crash, decide to move to a canyon in the middle of nowhere to start a new life. They're joined on their journey by a diverse group of characters, including a retired Canadian hockey player, a survivalist, and a conspiracy theorist.

The show is a mix of comedy and drama, with a focus on family dynamics and the challenges of starting over. Despite being set in a remote location, the characters are still faced with the same problems they would in any other setting. They have to deal with issues of love, jealousy, betrayal, and financial struggles, all while trying to survive in the canyon.

At the heart of the series is the Wendell family, led by the patriarch, Norm. He's a kind-hearted man who's always looking out for his family, but his good intentions can often lead him into trouble. His wife, Sandy, is a tough and no-nonsense woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. The two of them have three children: Rats, a rebellious teenager; Kody, a precocious child; and Cooch, the family's loyal dog.

One of the standout characters on the show is the retired hockey player, Jason. He's a lovable oaf who's always up for a good time. His constant scheming and antics not only provide comic relief but also drive many of the show's plotlines. He's particularly fond of his RV, which he's transformed into a makeshift bar.

Another memorable character is the survivalist, Woody. He's a gruff and curmudgeonly man who's always prepared for the worst. He's a skilled hunter and fisherman and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the local wildlife. Despite his tough exterior, he's shown to have a soft spot for his fellow canyon residents.

Lastly, there's the conspiracy theorist, Dee. She's an eccentric woman who's convinced that the government is spying on her. She's always coming up with elaborate theories about everything from chemtrails to alien abductions. Her crazy ideas often cause chaos for the other characters, but she's a fan favorite due to her off-beat personality.

The animation style of Crash Canyon is unique, with a mix of 2D and 3D animation. The backgrounds are beautifully rendered, and the character designs are distinct and memorable. The show also pays great attention to detail, with nods to Canadian culture and geography spread throughout.

Overall, Crash Canyon is an enjoyable and entertaining show. It's a great option for fans of animated sitcoms who are looking for something a little offbeat. With its quirky characters and unusual setting, Crash Canyon sets itself apart from other family comedies.
