Craft Wars is a series on The Learning Channel, with Tori Spelling acting as host. The series pits three people against each other. They are from all around the country. They each are specialists in one area of crafting. There are three judges, each a specialist in some field of crafting. One of the judges is from Michael's. Michael's, the nation wide crafting store, supplies every type of crafting supply for the 3 contestants to work with. The three judges are Erica Domesek, Stephen Brown, and Jo Pearson. Jo Pearson has a background going back 25 years. She is the creative consultant with Michael's.

There are 2 different rounds. The first round pits all three contestants against each other. They are given a specific crafting project, with unusual tools to start out with. They call this the "Pop" craft challenge. They are given one hour to create a specific thing to build. When the hour is over, they are given an opportunity to describe their particular project. They describe what it is, how it works, and why they chose the specific material they used. Then each of the judges critiques them, and eliminates one from the show.

The next part of the show is the "Master Craft Challenge". The two remaining contestants are given 5 hours to create an even bigger project. Because of the time limit, each contestant is given 4 helpers. During the time they are building it, they are each commenting on what they decided to build and why. At the end of this time limit, the one who is chosen to be the winner, wins $10,000.00.

The series delves into what a person can do with their imagination, given very unusual items to work with, and a time limit as a constraint.

Each of the contestants is interviewed on how they felt about the entire contest. The viewer discovers many things about the contestant's personality, and devotion to their particular area of crafting.

Tori Spelling was not only the host of this series, she was also the Executive Producer. Her father, Aaron Spelling, is a household name because of the numerous television series he created, going back to the 1970's. Tori Spelling is a lifelong crafter, and brought up the idea to the Learning Channel. The series lasted for 10 episodes, in the summer months of 2012.

Craft Wars is a series that ran for 1 seasons (10 episodes) between June 26, 2012 and on TLC
