Ep 17. Slow Pitch

In the episode "Slow Pitch" of the Canadian sitcom show Corner Gas, Brent and Hank team up to participate in a slow-pitch tournament. As the episode begins, the game has already been progressing for a while, and Hank is getting frustrated due to his team's inability to hit the ball. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is left in a dilemma about whether to forfeit the tournament or to continue playing. 

During this, Wanda and Davis form a team and participate in the tournament, creating some hilarious moments. Davis shows off his love for baseball by wearing an old costume and recollecting memories of his high school team. The two get close and develop some chemistry throughout the episode.

Towards the end, Brent returns with good news — the child who got hit by the ball is fine and will make a full recovery. This news comes as a relief for the team, but now they’re unsure whether they should return to the tournament or not.

In the end, after some hilarious mishaps and twists, Hank’s team ends up winning the tournament. Emma and Oscar also successfully complete their own competition in their own unique way, showing that there’s no right or wrong way of doing things.
