Corner Gas Animated season 4 episode 6 Law & Quarter follows the hilarious misadventures of the residents of Dog River as they deal with everyday challenges and quirks of their small town life.
In this episode, Brent finds himself in hot water when he disregards a local bylaw requiring him to keep his front lawn tidy and mowed. When his neglected lawn catches the attention of the Dog River police department, Brent is slapped with a hefty fine and has to scramble to find a way to pay it off before it goes to court.
Meanwhile, Hank takes on the role of amateur detective when he starts to suspect that one of the other townspeople is responsible for a string of petty thefts around town. With no actual evidence or leads to go on, Hank takes it upon himself to observe and interrogate the suspects, much to their annoyance.
As Brent struggles to scrape together enough money to pay his fine, he turns to his friends and family for help. Emma offers to lend him the money, but Brent is too proud to accept charity and insists on finding his own way to earn the cash. He eventually concocts a scheme to sell off some of the old junk cluttering his garage in a yard sale, but things don't go exactly as planned when he inadvertently sells a valuable antique toy for a fraction of its worth.
Meanwhile, Hank's amateur detective work takes a turn when he accidentally accuses the wrong person of the thefts. Embarrassed and ashamed, he tries to make it up to the wrongly accused individual by helping them with their own problems.
Over the course of the episode, the characters of Corner Gas Animated learn important lessons about responsibility, pride, and the importance of community. As always, the show delivers laughs and heartwarming moments in equal measure, making Law & Quarter another standout episode in the series.
