Following the successful debut of the first season of Corner Gas Animated, the second season returns with a brand new episode "Drone and Dumber."
The episode follows Hank, a self-proclaimed technophile who has just purchased a new drone. The drone is supposed to make Hank's work easier at Corner Gas, the local gas station and convenience store in Dog River, Saskatchewan. However, Hank becomes obsessed with his new toy and decides to use it to complete mundane tasks, such as picking up garbage and getting snacks from the local store.
Meanwhile, Brent and Emma are trying to come up with a new town slogan that will help attract tourists. They decide to hold a contest where residents can submit their ideas. However, their plans are derailed when Hank's drone goes rogue and causes chaos in the town.
As Hank tries to regain control of his drone, he accidentally causes destruction to public property and endangers residents. It's up to Brent, Emma, and the rest of the gang to come up with a plan to stop Hank's unmanned aerial vehicle before it's too late.
"Drone and Dumber" takes the familiar characters of Dog River from the original Corner Gas series and injects them with new life in a modern and visually stunning animated format. The episode also tackles themes like the dangers of technological obsession and the importance of community collaboration in solving town problems.
Fans of the original Corner Gas series will love seeing their favorite characters brought to life in a new way, while newcomers to the franchise will be able to appreciate the show's humor and heart. With its signature brand of dry wit and clever jokes, "Drone and Dumber" is a must-watch for all Corner Gas fans.
