Corn & Peg season 2 episode 2, "The Hoofing Hills Flyer/If the Shoe Fits," follows two fun and exciting adventures with Corn and Peg, the dynamic duo of Galloping Grove.
In "The Hoofing Hills Flyer," Corn, Peg, and their friends are excitedly preparing for the town's annual paper airplane contest. When their creation doesn't quite hold up to the competition, they set out to build a new design that will really soar. They enlist the help of a new friend, a bird named Flick, who lends his expert knowledge of flying to assist them in their quest. With determination and teamwork, they build a plane that flies higher and better than they ever imagined, but will it be enough to win the contest?
In "If the Shoe Fits," Corn and Peg discover a loose horseshoe on the trail and set out to find the owner. They soon stumble upon their friend, a horse named Pickle, who has lost a shoe and is now unable to keep up with his animal friends. They offer to help him find a replacement shoe, but it's not as easy as it seems. They visit the local blacksmith and try on different sizes and shapes of horseshoes, but none of them fit just right. Eventually, they realize that the best solution is to have a custom horseshoe made just for Pickle!
Throughout both adventures, Corn and Peg exemplify the values of friendship, determination, and problem-solving that make them such great role models for young viewers. They show that with a little creativity and resourcefulness, any challenge can be overcome. "The Hoofing Hills Flyer/If the Shoe Fits" is a delightful addition to the Corn & Peg series that kids and parents alike will enjoy.
