In this episode of Cops, the cameras follow officers from the Albuquerque Police Department as they respond to various calls throughout the city. The episode begins with the officers responding to a domestic violence incident where a woman claims that her boyfriend hit her. The officers arrive on the scene and try to determine what exactly happened. The woman tells them that her boyfriend hit her with a frying pan, but the boyfriend denies it. The officers separate the two and question them individually. After investigating the scene and speaking with witnesses, the officers are able to determine that the boyfriend did hit the woman and they arrest him.

Later, the officers respond to a call about a stolen car. When they arrive on the scene, they speak with the owner of the car who explains that he had parked it outside of his house the night before and it was gone in the morning. The officers check the surrounding area for the car and eventually locate it parked on the side of the road. They run the license plate and determine that the car was not actually stolen, but rather repossessed by the car's owner. The officers inform the original owner of the car and he is relieved to have found it.

Next, the cameras follow the officers as they conduct a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. When the officers approach the vehicle, they immediately notice the smell of marijuana. They question the driver and search the car, discovering several bags of marijuana. The driver is arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The last major incident in the episode involves a man who has barricaded himself inside his own house. The man's family contacted the police when he became extremely upset and began breaking things in the house. When the officers arrive on the scene, the man is yelling and refusing to come out of the house. The officers attempt to talk to him through the door and even send in a K9 unit to try to get him to surrender. After several hours, the man finally surrenders and is taken into custody.

Throughout the episode, there are also several minor incidents, such as a hit and run accident and a noise complaint. The officers handle each incident professionally and effectively, showcasing the hard work and dedication of the officers of the Albuquerque Police Department.
