In the 29th episode of season 7 of Cops, the cameras follow police officers on their patrol in Kansas City, Missouri. The detectives pose as a couple looking to buy drugs, and eventually, a dealer approaches them. The dealer is quickly arrested, and the detectives find a large quantity of drugs on him.

Later, the cameras follow a police officer as he responds to a call about a man with a gun. The officer arrives at the scene and finds the man sitting on a park bench with a gun in his lap. The officer cautiously approaches the man and manages to disarm him without incident. The man reveals that he was suicidal and was planning to shoot himself.

The episode then shifts to a group of officers responding to a call about a stolen car. The officers quickly locate the car and attempt to pull it over, but the driver refuses to stop. The officers pursue the car through several neighborhoods, and the driver eventually crashes into a fence and is apprehended.

The final segment of the show follows a group of officers as they respond to a call about a man with a knife. When they arrive at the scene, they find the man pacing in front of his house with a large kitchen knife. The officers attempt to calm the man down, but he becomes increasingly agitated and begins to threaten them. The officers eventually use a taser to subdue the man and take him into custody.

Throughout the episode, the cameras also capture the lighter moments of police work, including officers helping a lost child find his way home and an officer singing to a drunk suspect in the back of his police car. The show provides viewers with a glimpse into the daily routines of police officers and the challenges they face while serving their communities.
