Ep 2. Future

In Coppelion season 1 episode 2, titled "Future," we continue to follow the three genetically engineered girls known as Coppelions. In the aftermath of a nuclear disaster that wiped out most of Tokyo, Japan, the Coppelions have been sent in to search for survivors and deal with any remaining radiation threats.

As they explore the laboratory, the girls come across a strange room that has been completely sealed off. Suspecting that this might be the source of the Type 4 waste, they decide to investigate further. Using their advanced abilities, the Coppelions are able to bypass the security measures and enter the room.

Inside, they discover a young boy who has been trapped there for years. The boy, named Kanon, is shocked to see the Coppelions and at first fears that they are ghosts. He quickly realizes that they are not, but he is still wary of them.

As the girls talk to Kanon, they discover that he has been living in the room since the nuclear disaster. His parents had worked at the laboratory and when the disaster occurred, they were unable to get him out in time. As a result, they sealed him in the room, hoping that someone would eventually find and rescue him.

Kanon has been surviving on canned food and has been using a computer and the internet to try to find a way out. However, he has been unable to contact anyone due to the radiation levels that still exist in the outside world.

As the Coppelions talk to Kanon, they realize that he might be able to help them with their mission. He has been studying the Type 4 waste and has a deep understanding of how it works. Using his knowledge, the Coppelions are able to pinpoint the source of the waste, a nearby nuclear reactor.

The girls set off to destroy the reactor, but they face some obstacles along the way. They encounter a group of survivors who are still living in the area and who are distrustful of the Coppelions. They also have to deal with a sudden radiation storm that makes their mission even more difficult.

Despite these challenges, the girls are eventually able to reach the reactor and destroy it, eliminating the threat of the Type 4 waste. Before they leave, they rescue Kanon from the laboratory and take him back with them to their base.

The episode ends with the Coppelions reflecting on their mission and the challenges they faced. They are still unsure of what the future holds for them, but they are resolved to continue their work and help any survivors they come across.

Overall, "Future" is a tense and thrilling episode that showcases the Coppelions' bravery and determination in the face of incredible danger.
