Kiera Cameron is a police officer from the year 2077 who found herself trapped in the present day Vancouver, which was rocked by rebellion. In order to keep her timeline intact, Kiera worked with a group of rebels to prevent them from changing the future and returning her to the future where she belonged.
As the action-packed sci-fi series enters its third season, Kiera finds herself even more determined to protect the timeline that she was brought up in. In the first episode titled "Minute By Minute," Kiera discovers that her world has changed once again.
After escaping the clutches of Liber8, Kiera has managed to return to her family in 2077. But instead of finding comfort and normalcy, she is met with a city that is now under the rule of the powerful and dangerous corporate giant Piron. Alec Sadler, Kiera's ally and friend, is now the head of Piron and is on a mission to use their advanced technology to make the world a better place.
But as Kiera investigates the changes in her timeline, she realizes that this new world is far from perfect. Piron's technology has been linked to a number of unexpected deaths, and Kiera fears that Alec has been corrupted by the immense power that Piron holds.
The episode is fast-paced and filled with action, as Kiera races to uncover the truth about Piron and its mysterious leader. But she is not alone in her quest; the ruthless Liber8 rebels have also made their way to 2077, and they are determined to overthrow Piron and change the course of history once again.
As Kiera struggles to adapt to this new timeline, she is also grappling with personal issues. Separated from her son, Kiera is desperate to return to the time period she once called home. But as she works to unravel the mysteries of Piron and protect the timeline, Kiera begins to realize that her future may not be what she thought it was.
Overall, "Minute By Minute" sets the stage for a thrilling season as Kiera faces new challenges and threats to her timeline. With exciting plot twists, complex characters, and thought-provoking themes about the nature of power and control, Continuum remains one of the best sci-fi shows on television.
